Day 1: Welcome to Enchanting New Delhi, India
Upon arrival at India Gandhi International Airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel. After a brief introduction to your India tour, you will check into your hotel and have some free time on your own to adjust to the new time zone.
Day 2: Heritage Sightseeing of Delhi
After breakfast, start your tour today with a visit to Old Delhi to see Jama Masjid and then have a unique glance at local life by exploring to the bustling local bazaar of Chandni Chowk on a rickshaw.
Pass by Red Fort before driving to New Delhi for Qutub Minar. Continue to Gandhi Smriti and Humayun's Tomb and then drive past the city landmarks of India Gate, President's House, Parliament House and Government Secretariat Buildings where you can stop for photo opportunities. Finish today with an insight into the local religion at a colorful Hindu Temple - Laxmi Narayan Temple.
Day 3: Delhi - Agra
After breakfast head to Agra by private A/C car (about 4.5 hours), with a stopover for a coffee break or photo opportunities at your request any time en-route. On arrival visit Mehtab Bagh which is also called Moonlight Garden, where you could enjoy a preview of the Taj Mahal.
Day 4: Timeless Taj Mahal, Agra
This morning takes you early to the breathtaking Taj Mahal to avoid the crowds and heat in the daytime. Just immerse yourself in its amazing architecture, history, and beauty. Continue and discover the palatial Royal Pavilions at the red sandstone Agra Fort for a glimpse of the royal Mughal lifestyle. After that, end your exploration at Itmad-ud-daulah (Baby Taj).
Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
Day 5: Turning to Jaipur
Drive west to Jaipur this morning. En-route, roam around the former royal city of Fatehpur Sikri (about 1.5 hours' drive) en-route. The red-sandstone palace walls are at the most atmospheric and photogenic near sunset. Proceed to Jaipur (about 3.5 hours' drive) to check in and stay overnight.
Day 6: Historical Beauty of Jaipur
After breakfast, visit hillside Amber Fort (with a jeep ride up to the entrance), inside which you will also visit the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors).
Drive back to Jaipur and visit Nahargarh Fort on the way. It opens up a grand panorama of the surrounding countryside. Stop at the city landmark: the pink Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) for a picture opportunity. Continue to visit the City Palace Museum, a royal palace with seven storey, and Jantar Mantar. This wonderful observatory has attracted many mathematicians and astronomers around the world. Drive through the rose pink residential and business areas before returning to your hotel.
Day 7: Last Glance of India, Departure
After breakfast, your private driver will escort you to Delhi (about 5 hours). Upon arrival, you may take advantage of some time for a last minute gift shopping before our representative escorts you to the airport for your return flight.
